Steeped in the rich tradition of the Australian Surf Life Saving movement the Dicky Beach Surf Life Saving Club has seen many young men and women pass through the ranks and go on to become world class champions and active, committed and generous members of our community.
NOTICE OF THE SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING 23 JULY 2017
The Board would like to thank those members who have provided some suggested changes to our Constitution and By-Laws. Discussion at this meeting will be restricted to the itmes raised. It is important for all members to examine what has been proposed. Members are reminded the Constitution and By-Laws are the governing documents for our club together with our Policies and Procedures Manual.
It is also important for all members to understand the impact the associations Incorporations Act 1981 and regulations 1999; and the Australian Charities Not For Profit Commission (ACNC) has on the operation of our club. The club must be in compliance of directives and documents to allow us to maintain our charity and not for profit status.

DRAFT SUPPORTERS' NEW CONSTITUTION
The Dicky Beach Supporters' Club Governing Committee has drafted a new constitution and would like members to overview the Constitution. Should any member have feedback on this document you are encouraged to contact Alan Scorey. Any changes should state the clause number, change and rationale for the change. Submissions should be returned by 23 July 2017.
